Looks pretty good actually, just needs a higher profile tyre to get a bit of meat under the guards.

I agree 100%
Wheels came with 90% tread left, so may as well use it for now and get something to make it look a tighter.

Did you notice any weight difference between the rims? I wouldn't imagine there'd be much in it but curious to know if you weighed them.

Can't say I paid too much attention to it, or weighed them. I need to rotate the wheels soon, so will see if can feel any difference (no scales household here lol)
Only reason I swapped them up was to fit the larger 4-pots to the front wheels.

Is the offset of those WRX rims acceptable on a Forester?

Might affect the wheel track. See http://ozfoz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=18

Ah i see what you mean.
Offset went from 48mm to 53mm. So a total of 5mm each side. Still legal ;)

These wouldn't work too well with my STi struts - the stock XTP rims are close enough to the spring/spring perch as it is!

I'll need to get a lower offset for the front, something like +43 should sit nicely, might even be able to squeeze +38 or similar under the guard with a bit of rolling and that would help the rear sit a bit more flush with the guard as well. Can you take some side on pics to show how tucked the WRX rims are?

Well it's been a while since I've made an update, but finally got around to installing the 4pots from a MY03 WRX.

And a pic just because.
