Thought I'd start a build thread for the SNEK beast.
I purchased this car in September and it was completely stock, so was a great starting point.

Here is an image of what it has started like.

Onto the modifications. I'm not going to go crazy as this car is going to be the billboard for my business.
So with that in mind, I will put down what I have done, and what I plan to do.

To Be Completed - no particular order

Great to see another SH build thread started.

That looks like a well-balanced set of planned mods.

I was impartial to the SH and was actually on the lookout for a MY06, but picked the MY09 for 7.5k, so snapped it up and fell in love.

That's the plan, street-able fun.

SNEK is booked in on Monday to get FSB, RSB and ALK installed (plus a few extra new bushes ).

Have the new Wheels, struts, springs, tophats and calipers all here ready to go.
Just going to paint the calipers before I do that install. Prob do it in 2-3 weeks time.

Once that lot is done, will be a few months before any extra work (besides signwriting) will be completed.

Can't wait!

Good move starting with handling work.

Most (including me) start with power mods, however there is a tonne of driving fun to be had once the barge-like handling is dialled back.

Yeah in my older Foz's I went power first, but this time round I wanted to do things the right way. Handling and stopping power is something I feel was important for this model forester.

Yeah good times ahead.
Told everyone no xmas prezzies this year from me, no cash...lol

Oh and my "vanity" plates have arrived.
Will be picking them up next week after the install.

Last of my parts I needed have arrived for the suspension.

Looks like over the next few nights, I'll be putting the struts and springs together ready for install this weekend.
Foz should be finished at the mechanics tomorrow arvo (they were sent an incorrect gearbox mount, so have to wait for that to get here tomorrow)
