Nice work with the extra sub! Probably a blast to the past to our younger days

You guys misunderstand. To paraphrase the Christopher Steele Trump dossier, Tobyo has "unusual proclivities"....

How are you attaching that in the boot so it doesn't slide around?

I used some Occy straps. Will post some photos on the weekend.

Very nice.
So you have the kicker under seat sub and the hertz sub. Very interesting combo.
Do you switch off the kicker when the hertz is in the back?
I can imagine there would be some frequency overlap between the two and it may sound a little sloppy as the hertz would do a much better job than the kicker.

I am still playing with the crossovers and the equaliser to get the right sound. The Kicker is running off the rear RCA out and the Hertz off the sub RCA out. So I can change those crossovers plus the Kicker has a crossover. There is also a remote bass boost on the Kicker so I can turn that down/off if needed. Currently great at high volume with nice clear bass that shacks the car. The bass is muddy at low/mid volume. More tuning/testing to do.

The cargo mat gets some school bags thrown on it most days and the occasional other stuff. A wipe down with 303 Protectant every other month is the only maintenance :)

Yep - reliving my youth. Cranking up some 90s dance music plus I created a playlist to test my speakers that ranges from Massive Attack to Dire Straits to Rudimental to the Eagles to Macklemore - all good to enjoy :)

My wife thinks modding my Foz including adding car audio is me having a poor mid life crisis :)

Thanks for the song suggestion! Yep that is a good one :) Added to my playlist - which is here on Spotify. It covers a range of music genre and has songs that highlight spacial awareness, vocals, bass, instruments such as guitars, drums, trumpet, symbols etc

Yeah there are a few that are questionable - that being one of them. May drop it off the list.
