I finally have all the parts together to get my GC8 alloy front control arms in now thanks to Bram and his fancy endlinks.

Went to install my Alloy front control arms today. Turns out, they're GD arms NOT GC arms. So, I have some GC front bushes on order. As well as some steering rack bushes. Might as well do them while I'm under there.

I also have a 4 pot 'Big Brake Kit' on the way. This includes larger, custom 330mm front rotors and some dog bone adapters to space the calipers out to fit over the new rotors. If I'm lucky, this will solve my brake fade issues during extended spirited mountain drives. If I'm very lucky, these and the whiteline parts will arrive before the weekend so I can get it all fitted up.

Overnight parts from DC Jap Automotive FTW!

Unfortunately the alloy arms are still at my mechanics getting the bush pressed out when he has some spare time. So I couldn't get them in this afternoon. However I did get the rack bushes in. The ones that came out were in pretty decent condition so we will see how much of a difference they make.

Nice, you'll like the GD front arms. They'll give you a little more track width up front

Yeah, I'm pretty happy about this mistake to be honest.

Off on a tangent. But what is the spacing between the original SF swaybar mounting tabs on the LCA?

I'll measure it tonight after work and PM you.

Control arms are in. I think I have reached maximum castor with these arms though. As the front bolt could not be put in with the beatrush brace in place, and without the beatrush bar, was still very difficult to install due to the twisting of the front mount. It doesn't show well in photos though.

Still waiting on the front BBK, so the car's still on stands till that gets here, hopefully Monday.

Really loving the endlinks from Bram right now. Install was a breeze. I'll fiddle with the overall length of the link once the car is on the ground and I can get a good look at the geometry with the car at rest.

The Big Brake Kit arrived today. Good timing too as I had the day off so I proceeded to bolt it on.

Size difference between the new rotors and old T3's.

Caliper spacer bracket in place.

Caliper and rotor in place.

Just clears.

Now, due to all the added castor and track from the GD control arms, I have an epic amount of toe in. I'll have to give it an eyeball alignment before I can drive it to my alignment bloke and get a proper alignment.
