Looking good!
I like the Ultrex scoop, might source my own and replace my custom "beginning to warp" attempt.

Started on the bi-annual waxing by hitting the scoop with the DA buffer and some cutting compound then waxing and polishing the scoop and bonnet. I'm no painter or detailer, but I'm pretty happy with this for a rattle can job and 17yr old paint.

I also buffed the wing as the clear on it was starting to look a little oxidized on certain angles. It came up really well, but the camera couldn't really capture a good before and after.

I entered into my first ever Hillclimb event last weekend. I had a blast, and the car performed flawlessly. Being my first event, and that I had to drive the car home I took it pretty easy. Especially on the launches. 8-)

22nd out of 32. Lots of room for improvement :D

Some pics of the day that have popped up on Facebook.

I also put together a gopro video of all of my runs except for my last one. Gopro didn't record the last run :(

With a few tweaks to the suspension, and a wheel alignment next time I go back I'll be faster!

Looks tidy and a lot of fun. I really enjoyed my attempts of hill climb over circuit racing.

Apparently the original engine was misfiring on two cylinders and the driver was nursing a blown head gasket. The factory-original tyres had seen better days too. Still, Chips smashed the Datto's time by nearly half a second... :P
