I got the engine bay detailed today. Came up pretty nice for a 16yr old car. :D

I moved the location of the boost gauge slightly so now it's not obscuring the fuel gauge from my seating position. This has been irritating me since I first bought the car.

I managed to score a set of black Aerospec headlight covers+headlights for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, the headlights were pretty yellowed and the covers were wrapped in carbon fiber vinyl, so they required a bit of cleanup before install.

Image
Yellowed lenses and torn Carbon vinyl. Ewww.

Image
Carbon vinyl removed, and the paint on the covers is in pretty good condition!

Image
Hit them with some Mothers scratch remover to clean up the yellowed lenses and remove any residual adhesive left from the carbon vinyl.

Image
They all came up pretty nice!

After.

I was undecided about leaving them black, or getting them painted white when I get the bonnet/scoop/sideskirts painted but, seeing them on I really like them black.

Looks beast, i think the black ties in well with the grille surround and black centre section of the front bar.
