I wasn't sold on it at first, but the more photos I see, the more that tailgate garnish grows on me... Looking good!

Surprised to read the 3" MRT is quieter than the 2.5" TCP; I would have thought the opposite based on memories of the waali mobile vs my old foz. I'm looking for an opportunity to swap out 2.5" rear section for 3", great to know the MRT diff back fits and is quieter :)

My MRT diff back has been modded slightly with about 100mm added to the length of the tip. It's not a huge Supprise, as the muffler on the MRT is much larger than that of the TCP.

I think I know why we had different experiences of perceived volume. My muffler is their old gc wrx unit, a large oval much the same size as the MRT. It looks like yours was their later forester-specific one?

Not too sure, the exhaust was on the car when I bought it and the receipts I have aren't too specific. I know they replaced the STi GeNome exhaust with the TCP one, and I'm kinda bummed about that.

I got the MRT diffback centered in the exhaust cutout today. Looks much better!

Much better (well apart from the GeNome missing).

Last week I had a local paintless dent removal company go over the entire car and remove every single ding, dent, wobble and imperfection in the metalwork. The results are truly amazing. As you could imagine the car was showing it's age a little with some rather nasty dings. Now, it looks like it's just left the showroom in Japan :D

No pictures unfortunately as I didn't get time to take any detailed closeups before it went in.

Now hopefully I'll have it in for paint in a few weeks. Getting the Ultrex scoop, bonnet, sideskirts and JDM indicator mirrors painted. Then I'll put on the spare, much better condition front and rear bumpers.

I'm still trying to organize a date and time with Matt to get the final tune done. So hopefully that happens sometime in August.

Today I installed a Thinkware F750 2ch dashcam and hardwire kit. It's a bit bulkier than the Blackvue system I'm using in my NA, but it does 1080p front and rear, whereas the Blackvue is only 720p rear. No pics either as it was after dark when I got it all in and working.

Here's a pic I took on Saturday when I went for a bit of a drive.
