Thanks guys - at first I wasn't sure, but after looking at it all day its grown on me a lot. I think the sti lip and pods will really set it off (and the blacked headlights!!)

Looks good mate. I've been warned off the after market alloy radiators recently due to the tight fit. Apparently everything is very tight ........

Does look good mate. The blue and gold seem to compliment each other. I like those Brembos.
Must be getting close to fitting up the STI lip and Aero Pods.

Cheers guys - you are right, have a lot to fit when time allows:

- Aero pods painted with black bumper paint as per the 'Hoyeo' method
- STI lip and spare pair of door handles are at the painters getting done in 02C paint code (WRB)
- Beatrush aluminium undertray was painted in etch primer and then 2 coats of satin black caliper paint (and cured in the BBQ)
- Engine cover, hella horns and front strut brace still at the powdercoaters (Satin black) but should be back soon
- Ordered new brake pads (TRWs as recommended by GIR - Ferodos way too much squeal)
- One of the rear Bilsteins has packed it in (not dampening enough, causing wheel to scrub) - a new set order from Japan via Import monster
- New octa-core android headunit needs to be harnessed and installed (with the stock subwoofer mod)
- Still need to black out the headlights (have all the required items) and also tint the tails slightly (have Nightshades spray tint)
- Then just order the kit to remove the roof rails...

Decided I'm going to sell the catch cans and hosing, clamps etc - will be too much headache with maintenance etc.

Hope it was a good meet tonight, really with I could of made it - I'm still writing documentation right now for a training course I have to deliver tomorrow

Was it much cheaper to purchase the bilstein from import monster than from sparebox at 400ish per corner. Car is coming along nicely. Giving me a bit of inspiration

Thanks mate  I was able to get an unused pair (new but some visual marks/scratches from storage) of rear liberty GenV genuine Subaru/Bilstein rear struts for $550 landed from Import Monster. That is 1-3 months shipping via seafreight (to my door), was about another $100 more for air ship (which was too much for me).

For comparison, I got the quoted the following for brand new pairs:
Subaru Docklands - $1030 pickup
Fulcrum - $1000 pickup

Unfortunately Subaru struck a deal with Bilsten for the GenV where the struts are not offered for sale through Bilstein or their dealers, only directly from Subaru. This is an absolute prick designed to make them more $. Anyway, happy its all sorted.

My back left strut is not in a good way, its scrubbing out on the tyre over large bumps. Booked in with Steve (Sharpie) next Friday night to upgrade my rear 3/8" saggy butt spacers to 1". This will bring the back nicely level with the front, and also reduce the amount of scrubbing that occurs (I hope).
