Very sad indeed. Friggin third gen liberty drivers are the worst.

What's the plan from here? Let insurance deal with it and see what the damage is? It's very early days but I'd be interested in some bits and pieces, happy to swing by once you've got the car back but obviously, I do hope the damage isn't too bad and it can get back on the road in one piece!

Cheers guys - it did cross my mind to grab another forester and move everything across, however the amount of time and effort is more time than i have. Unfortunately with 2 young kids and a busy job, i just don't get as much time as I'd like to work on the Forester anymore. I think if anything I'll probably look at buying a racecar (pending storage) as it won't have yearly rego requirements etc, and I could go enjoy on a track etc.

In regards to the car:
- Have removed everything that I could easily take off.
- Once insurance assesses, I will know what will happen with the rest (turbo/intercooler/silicone intake/headers/3-port/dump/brakes/wheels)
- I already have a few people who helped me getting stock parts who I have given first dibs, but after that I will open up the parts to everyone else
