I had no issues with it using the stock cluster but it blocked the temp gauge on the STi cluster. One of the reason for the cluster swap was to get the temp gauge lol

Does the STi shift light and beep noise work with your car?

Apparently these clusters have this functionality.

Sure does..you set the cluster and when it hits the desired revs it buzzes and the shift light kicks in

Do you have a constantly flashing "lock" light where the odometer screen is on your cluster? I'm led to believe its for the DCCD which the STi's have.

If not, are you aware of the coding required to remove it, or how have you gotten around it. (Other than taping over the screen with black duct tape haha)

Nah still have the flashing lock. Only thing I can't fix. The diff temp and SI drive lights have been blanked out

When you say blanked out, does that mean that it won't light up again? How did you manage this? Coded out?

Just wanting to know what I'm in for before I pull the trigger.

You need to take the cluster apart and put some solid foam (the yellow bits) into these slots to stop those lights from flashing
