Unfortunately not. The C-clip is undercut into the housing there and that section has the least amount of material due to the outlet.
The standard holes have a large amount of extra material cast into the mold.

Corrected below

I'm rotating that. developing a mini intercooler so that the boost reference air from the compressor housing always hits the boost control solenoid at a controlled air temperature and density. It will be a mini-intercooler the size of a matchbox made with the same state-of-the-art CNC machining used to manufacture Swiss watches. Just haven’t got around to it yet.

Cheers :drinks:

I’ve now gone with a very discreet OLED screen to display the W2A sensors. It will be mounted in a aluminium housing to the usual standards.
The arduino will
-Activate the W2A thermo fans at a preset speed (using the speedo signal).
-Switch on the pump for the water spray and run for a set duration (using MAP sensor).
-Active a piezo for a shift alarm at a preset RPM (Using tacho signal).
-Display W2A intake and outlet air temperature.
-Display W2A coolant temperature on entry and exit.

The image below is in test mode cycling random numbers. Will use a very small joystick style selector to navigate the menu and make changes.

Very nice.

Will it take an input from the "danger to manifold" sensor?

If you ever sell this car - I'm first in line.

W2A setup looks absolute porn. How much control will you have over the IAT's on the fly? Can you increase/decrease flow or will it just be controlled by fan speed and water spray?

It certainly will, though It will simply say “limp mode activated, go home”

Unfortunately JONP has already paid a non refundable holding deposit to my Panama account, though I have put you down as seconds (please see page one, first paragraph of my Gallery build for details).

Not having driven the car yet, I have no idea how the temps will act, so to begin with it will be a primitive setup which we will monitor and guesstimate the settings, once further data is accumulated we can make it more automated and precise. All inputs can be adjusted on the fly.
Though If I pre meditate some spirited driving, the W2A radiator will be bypassed by two electronicly actuated ball valves and the chiller will run to turn the water into a slushy, though we will be running antifreeze to prevent this, which unfortunately reduces the heat absorption rate of pure water, but we can’t have best of both worlds
