Freshly water jet cut clevis from 4140 steel (Chrome-Molybdenum High Tensile Steel). Should last a few thousand years. Got a deep groove bearing to replace the bush. Was initially worried that too much material would need to be removed from the pedal, but the bracket for the clutch switch is pretty solid and provides more than enough support.

Thanks :ok:
Though staying back so late meant I was on one of the last trains out and had a 30min brisk stroll through a very shady neighborhood. Having a clutch pedal concealed under my thick coat was slightly comforting.

Have you become a card-carrying member of the powerful "pro concealed carry of clutch pedals for self defence" lobby? :P

---

That is a very elegant solution to the poor factory design.

Thanks :ok:
Though this mod was not an anticipated one  . I just re installed the plumbing/topmount and tested the clutch since the upgrade and I nearly broke out in giggles. It feels sooo crisp and now disengages in what feels like half the stroke compared to previously. No more mashing the pedal into the carpet.
I wish I could have my own workshop and make this as a change over kit for people as it is a massive difference.
I could get the clevis made but people would have to take their pedal to a local machine shop to get the pedal machined out to accommodate the ball bearing.

Solid work.

To become a proper youtube hit you might need to substantially increase the "d!ckheads carrying-on and doing slapdash work" factor however.
