I think i saw a vid on facebook? the sound was insane and looked like you were seriously hammering!

Nope. Havent pulled engine as yet. Been busy with my other jobs. Im working this saturday aswell. But hopefully have time to pull the engine sunday.

Have been speakin with an engine builder here and also doing my own research. Even started doing the engine building course at HPA aswell.

One thing is for sure, New engine will be bigger and badder than this one was. When i first had the engine done, the car was never a race car. It was just a street car at that stage. And as such i only put small cams in it. And didnt do alot of big power mods. Close decking the 2.5s wasnt as common a thing back then as it is now a days. And i even bought a set 14mm studs way back then aswell, but never went through with it. And re phasing the crank galleries for better rod big end oiling wasnt done either.

Going forwards i plan to address all those things. So it will def be CDB, 14mm studs, either billet crank or at the least re-drilled OEM. Doing research into what are the lightest rods and pistons that i can run that will take the abuse. Big lift and duration cams, open up the heads and valve seats for more flow. And also thinking of splurging on a dry sump system aswell. Probs go 2000cc injectors and maybe gtx3582r down the road aswell. 400hp will become 600hp.
