First mod. New tyres.
Kept the original size 225/55R18
Conti Crosscontact LX2
Not overly aggressive but should be good for beach work and gravel.

Nudge bar looks good. How are you liking the SJ? I'm tempted to "upgrade" from the SH XTP to an SJ XTP, just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Car sits too high and the seating position is too high for my liking.

G'day James,
Yeah lovin the SJ. Although I have nothing to compare it to Subaru wise.
Previous car was a 98 NL Pajero, so tech and comfort levels are a big step up.
We're not towing a camper trailer anymore but still want to head up the beach occasionally so the Forester was a good choice.
cheers
scott

Yeah it should do the job. I've had two MY06 STi's in the past, first one was quite mild at 210awkw and the second one was 280awkw on E85 - fantastic cars. Bought the SH XTP as a family friendly car and sold the STi, then tried to bring the SH up to "STi spec" and kind of regret doing so. I love the look on the lowered springs but the Whiteline ALK and RCA kit have basically killed the comfort completely. Toying with either moving to an SJ XTP or tS model and selling the SH, or resolve the comfort issues with the SH and keep it for a few more years.

Next mod - 1" lift installed.
SLO spacers.
Didn't worry about the extra .5" rear yet. Can be added later if needed.
Clearance under sump guard - 230mm
Clearance under rear diff - 280mm

Probably hard to tell in the pic.
