Hi all,

I went to the dyno day hosted by EXE-Crew and Nugget Nationals yesterday. I was hoping for a 200kW figure but I got 175.1kW at all fours. A little disappointed but this confirms the bum dyno was happy with a smooth and linear power curve. The lower power measured could be because it is a low reading dyno (I've been told); I am running too rich from the smoke coming out and/or I'm only on the first revision of the tune. I knew I was running a little rich as it sometimes would pop. Once the tuner is free, I will have a chat with him to see what his thoughts are.

Photos and video below! :D

Cheers,

Pete.

Yeah I agree that the combination of your tune not being finalised and a tough dyno must have given the 175. I would also have thought about 190 given what results others have got. A dyno result is only a number, what counts is how it feels :)

Yep, bum dyno is happy for now! I did some logs prior to this dyno day and sent them to the tuner; he has been busy with personal stuff so he is yet to review and get back to me.

Here's another photo, taken by one of the crew.

Hi all,

I bought Bram's Kartboy pitch stop mount a while ago and finally installed it today. It was quite easy and straight forward. I took it for a quick and short spin after the install and noticed less slack in the drivetrain when changing between gears - feels good. I didn't really notice more NVH, but maybe because I have heaps already!

After that, I removed the bonnet scoop so it can be painted with the grill.

Great update. I'm a big fan of the number and detail of the photos, plus the commentary on how/why obviously.

I wonder if leaving that scoop liner out is an option - looks like it would flow more!
