 Post subject: Are these things necessary when having 112,500 service done?

Not quite sure where to post this.

My car is due for its 112,550 service. I've looked at the list of things that need doing. $695 for this seems a bit excessive. Are things like upper engine clean and fuel tank additive really necessary. Spoke to a different mechanic and he seems to think that most things in this service don't really need to be done. He quoted me $295. HUGE difference. Any thoughts?

UEC and fuel additive, whilst not necessary, are cheap items that help maintain your car in top working order. :ok:
