I have completed most of the mods on my Forester so need something else to mod :) So I am looking at my wife's Outback. I have swapped the RSB for something bigger. Done LED interior lights. Now thinking of lowering it. I can't find much information on doing this. I read some posts you can swap to Liberty struts and springs but can't find many details.

Has anyone done this or know anything about it?

Wouldn't the ride height been part of the purchase decision over a liberty??

Why not investigate a e10/ e85 flex fuel tune??

We wanted a wagon so the dogs can go in the back. Wagons are no longer available in a Liberty otherwise that would have been an option. We wanted something bigger than a Forester.

Similar reason why some Forester owners lower their cars - WRX not big enough/wanted boot space but didn't need the height.

Power is something I have started to look into. I think a tune can make a good different but handling is first thing I am looking at.

Fair call. Didn't realize you can't get liberty wagons anymore...... swaping rear struts may not work then.
